If you or someone in your family has chronic kidney disease with rising creatinine levels, you are probably in a state of controlled panic. Dialysis has been mentioned. The nephrologist's options are narrowing. And someone — a neighbour, a relative, a Google search at 2am — has suggested homeopathy.
You need an honest answer. Not a miracle claim and not a dismissal. So here is what we have actually observed at Yadav Homeo Clinic — after treating hundreds of kidney disease patients over 30 years.
'Can homeopathy bring my creatinine down and support my kidney health?'
Short answer: constitutional treatment has, in our clinical experience, been able to meaningfully support kidney function in some patients — though not all, and never as a substitute for your nephrologist's ongoing care. The cases where a meaningful response is most likely are specific — which is why honest expectations matter so much.
This is the first thing I explain to every kidney patient. Chronic kidney disease — CKD — is rarely a disease of the kidney in isolation. In most cases, it is the end result of a systemic process that has been silently damaging renal tissue for years: uncontrolled diabetes, chronic hypertension, autoimmune activity, or a constitutional susceptibility that made the kidneys vulnerable.
Treating only the kidney while ignoring these systemic drivers is like mopping water from under a leaking pipe without fixing the leak. This is precisely why conventional nephrology — which focuses on managing creatinine, blood pressure and dietary restriction — rarely reverses CKD. It manages the damage; it does not address why the damage is occurring.
Constitutional homeopathic treatment addresses the whole person. The diabetes control. The blood pressure pattern. The immune activity. The constitutional susceptibility. When this complete picture is treated with the precisely matched constitutional remedy, the kidney — still having functional tissue — sometimes responds by recovering function that was assumed to be permanently lost.
CKD Stages 1 to 3 (creatinine typically under 3.5): This is where homeopathic treatment has the strongest potential. We regularly see stabilisation of creatinine in these patients, and in many cases a genuine, measurable reduction over 6 to 12 months of consistent treatment. Several patients in this range have brought their creatinine from borderline levels back into the normal range and maintained that improvement.
CKD Stage 4 (creatinine 3.5 to 7): Results are less predictable but still meaningful in a proportion of cases. The primary goal at this stage is delaying dialysis — sometimes by years — while improving quality of life. We have several patients whose creatinine was hovering near dialysis threshold and has stabilised or improved over extended periods of constitutional treatment.
CKD Stage 5 — End Stage Renal Disease (creatinine above 7–8): At this level, I will be honest: homeopathy's role is primarily supportive and palliative. Managing fatigue, nausea, itching, and maintaining quality of life. Reversing advanced end-stage renal disease is generally not achievable. If a nephrologist says dialysis is needed — please begin dialysis. Do not delay life-sustaining treatment based on hope in any alternative therapy.
A family comes to us with a father whose kidney function has declined significantly. The nephrologist has raised serious concerns about the road ahead. They have tried every herbal remedy suggested by neighbours. They arrive desperate.
We start constitutional treatment alongside their nephrology care. I ask them to get blood reports every 6 weeks without fail. Over the following months, his kidney function shows steady, meaningful improvement on repeat testing. His nephrologist continues to monitor him closely. The family cannot believe it.
This is not a miracle. This is what happens when the whole systemic picture is addressed — the blood pressure becomes better controlled, the inflammatory drivers reduce, the diet is properly followed, and the constitutional remedy supports the kidney's own regenerative capacity.
I do not share this to make promises. I share it because these families deserve to know this is possible — while understanding clearly that it is not guaranteed and that conventional nephrology care must continue without interruption. Individual results vary; this patient's outcome may not be typical.
If you are in CKD Stage 1 to 4, have not yet started dialysis, are compliant with your nephrology care and diet, and are looking for something that might help slow or reverse the progression — yes, constitutional homeopathic treatment is worth a serious attempt.
Bring your complete reports to the first consultation. We will give you an honest assessment of whether your case is one where we believe meaningful improvement is possible.
