Why Conventional Treatment Does Not Cure Chronic Skin Disease — and What Homeopathy Does Differently
If you have been living with vitiligo, psoriasis or eczema for months or years, you already know the conventional route: steroid creams, antihistamines, immunosuppressants, light therapy. Vitiligo — 35 Years of Clinical Experience, Hundreds of Cases Treated
Vitiligo — known in Hindi as safed daag or leucoderma — is the condition we are most frequently consulted for, and the one where our clinical track record is strongest. White patches appear when melanocytes — the cells that produce skin pigment — are destroyed by the immune system. The patches are painless but profoundly affect confidence, social life and mental health.
Conventional dermatology offers PUVA light therapy, tacrolimus cream, steroid applications and skin grafting. These can produce results in certain cases — but they do not address why the immune system is attacking melanocytes. Constitutional homeopathy does.
Honest answer based on 35 years of clinical practice: yes — in a significant proportion of cases, and particularly when treatment begins relatively early in the disease course.
In our experience at Yadav Homeo Clinic, constitutional treatment for vitiligo consistently achieves three outcomes across different patients:
stopping new patches from appearing. This is the most consistent outcome, seen in the majority of patients who complete a full course of treatment.
Item 1visible return of pigment to existing patches. Typically begins as small brown dots (pigment islands) inside the white area, which gradually coalesce and spread inward. Seen in approximately 40 to 60 percent of patients who complete 12+ months of treatment.

Psoriasis — Clearing the Skin Without Suppressing the Immune System
Psoriasis is one of the most distressing chronic skin conditions — not just physically, but psychologically. The thick, silvery plaques on the elbows, knees, scalp and body are visible to the world. Psoriatic arthritis, which affects up to 30 percent of psoriasis patients, adds joint pain and stiffness to the burden. Conventional treatment — methotrexate, biologics, UV therapy — can produce significant clearing but typically requires lifelong continuation and comes with side effects that worry many patients.

Month 3-4

Frequently Asked Questions
Can homeopathy permanently cure vitiligo?
In many cases — particularly early-stage vitiligo treated consistently for 12–18 months — lasting repigmentation is achievable. Many patients experience improvement that does not return after treatment ends. However, outcomes vary significantly and cannot be guaranteed for every individual.
Do I need to stop using my steroid cream before starting homeopathy?
No. Never stop any prescribed treatment abruptly. You can continue using your topical creams alongside homeopathic treatment. As your condition improves, your skin will need the cream less frequently — and you can taper it gradually under our guidance. We work with your existing treatment, not against it.
I have had psoriasis for 15 years and it covers large areas. Is it too late?
It is never too late to try. Long-standing or extensive psoriasis takes longer to respond and may not achieve complete clearance — but meaningful reduction in plaque area, thickness and associated symptoms is achievable in most cases with consistent constitutional treatment. My eczema is triggered by food allergies. Can homeopathy help?
Yes. Constitutional homeopathic treatment addresses the underlying immune hypersensitivity that makes the skin react to food triggers. How do we track whether the treatment is actually working?
Photographs are the most reliable tracker for skin conditions — we ask patients to photograph affected areas in the same lighting every 4 to 6 weeks, so gradual change (which is easy to miss day-to-day) becomes clearly visible over time. For vitiligo specifically, this is how pigment islands are first noticed. We also review your progress at every follow-up consultation.

Will my skin get worse before it gets better?
For most patients, no — the usual pattern is a gradual slowing and stopping of new activity, not a flare-up. A brief, mild aggravation is occasionally seen very early in some cases as the body's response shifts, but this is not universal and is not something to be alarmed by if it happens. We monitor this closely at follow-ups and adjust the prescription if needed.
Is homeopathic treatment for skin conditions safe during pregnancy or for young children?
