Many first-time homeopathy patients arrive at our clinic with a mix of curiosity and uncertainty. They have heard about homeopathy. They know someone who was helped. But they do not know what to expect — and that unknown is sometimes what stops people from making the appointment.
This article is for you if you are thinking about coming to Yadav Homeo Clinic but want to know exactly what will happen before you come.
Here is the complete picture — from before you arrive to after you receive your prescription.
The more information you bring, the better your prescription will be. This is not a general principle — it is specific to homeopathy, where the depth of the prescription is directly tied to the depth of the information.
We begin with your main concern — the reason you came. We want to understand the disease itself: when it started, what triggered it or preceded it, how it has developed, what makes it better or worse, what other symptoms accompany it.
This part is familiar from any medical consultation. What comes next is not.
This is where classical homeopathy is fundamentally different from any other medical system — and where the prescription is actually built.
We will ask about your sleep. What time do you fall asleep and wake up? Do you sleep on one side? Do you have disturbing dreams? Do you wake at a specific time?
We will ask about your appetite and thirst. Are you someone who craves cold drinks or warm drinks? Do you have strong food preferences or aversions? How is your appetite in the morning versus the evening?
We will ask about temperature. Do you generally feel hot or cold? Do you sweat easily, and where? Do you need the fan on or do you prefer warmth?
We will ask about your emotional patterns. Are you by nature an anxious person or a calm one? How do you respond to criticism? How do you handle grief? Are you someone who weeps easily or someone who holds emotions in?
We will ask about your fears. Heights. Crowds. Disease. The future. Death. These are not psychological profiling questions. In classical homeopathy, a person's deepest fears are among the most medically important pieces of information — they reveal the constitutional type with a precision that no blood test can match.
I tell every new patient: I am going to ask you questions that no doctor has ever asked you before. Please do not dismiss them as unrelated. In homeopathy, everything is related.
After the case-taking is complete, the doctor takes time to analyse the case. Sometimes the remedy is clear immediately. Sometimes it requires 10 to 15 minutes of careful consideration — weighing symptoms, looking for the thread that connects the physical, mental and emotional picture into a single coherent constitutional type.
You will be prescribed a single remedy in a specific potency with a specific schedule. We will explain what we are prescribing and why. We will tell you what to expect — both what improvement might look like and what other changes (not all immediately positive) sometimes occur when a constitutional remedy begins working.
You will receive clear instructions: how to take the medicine, what to avoid (coffee, strong odours, certain substances that can antidote some remedies), when to follow up and what to report.
Constitutional remedies do not always produce immediate dramatic change. More often, the first sign of action is subtle: slightly better sleep, a shift in energy, an improvement in mood. Over weeks, the physical symptoms begin to change.
Some patients experience what homeopaths call a 'healing aggravation' — a brief and temporary worsening of existing symptoms before improvement begins. This is generally considered a positive sign — evidence that the remedy is working — but we always want to know about it.
Follow-up is booked for 4 to 6 weeks after the first consultation. At that visit we assess your response and adjust the treatment accordingly. The follow-ups are where the real art of homeopathic prescribing happens — reading the response to the first remedy and deciding what the next step should be.
Our online consultation process is designed to be exactly as thorough as an in-person visit. You complete a detailed intake form, share your reports by WhatsApp, pay the fee online, and receive your prescription within 24 to 48 hours. Follow-ups happen online every 4 to 6 weeks.
We have been conducting online consultations since 2018 — patients from every state in India and from over 15 countries have been treated this way with the same quality of care.
Our team is happy to answer any questions before you book. You can call us, WhatsApp us, or fill the contact form on our website. We respond to every enquiry personally.
